I am a huge fan of the loose, slouchy off the shoulder t-shirt trend. This shirt is one I've been oogling since I saw this pin on Pinterest last year! It's been on heavy rotation lately, and I'm going to tell you how I finally made it my own.
I found this shirt at Target this spring and was super excited. The problem was that it's supposed to fit tightly, and had a high neck. This is a plus sized shirt, and I'm not plus sized so it was baggy on me. That was fine, except that the neck fit really weirdly! Whatever, I knew I could make it work so of course I bought it anyways. No way was I missing out on my celfie shirt!
After looking at it I decided to use the idea I found in this tutorial and just hack the neck off, making a loose slouchy t-shirt.
I love it! I hope you liked my quick project, because I've been enjoying the heck out of it this spring and summer. And because this post is about an ironic celfie t-shirt, you know I had to include an ironic selfie in it! My husband and I have a tradition of taking goofy couples selfies at any location we travel to, so here's the one from our last trip to the Oregon coast (wearing my new shirt, obviously!) And if you'd like too oogle any more of his cuteness you can check him out modeling his Mad Max costume over here...
