If you know me, you know it's no secret that I love, love LOVE thrift store shopping. And I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty sure my mom had this dress in white when I was a kid. If not this exact dress, certainly it's first cousin. I squealed a little bit when I found it, partially because it totally reminds me of something you'd see in the Anthropologie window display, and partly because of remembering my mom's dress.
I squealed even harder when I realized that it was only $4. Originally it was $8, but the crazy people of Idaho had passed up this beauty long enough that it was the color tag that was half off that day. Epic win. I will gladly take it off their hands! Even though this dress is a bit more "feminine" then I usually like, I could not pass it up. All that detail work! Plus I'm in love with the flattering and totally current trendy shirttail hem, and midi length skirt.
But the selling point of this dress is the gorgeous open lace back, which is just revealing enough to be sexy as hell, and just covered up enough to be pretty and appropriate for a family outings this summer, all while keeping me cool. A true thrift store score! What about you all, have you found anything good thrifting lately?
