A little bit Halloween...and thrifted leather pants

Halloween is tomorrow, and it's put me in the mood to be a little dramatic with the black (and my hair, if you look closely). I was totally skeptical about these legging when I bought them, but oh my lord are they comfortable. Seriously. I don't ever want to take them off!

These (faux) leather leggings were a thrift store find about a month ago, for $6. For the month of October I paired them with peep toe booties, a big slouchy grey sweater (thrifted for $3) and blue hair! No, it's not dye, as much as I'd love it to be I could never commit to color like this on a permanent basis. I used liquid hair chalk, which I would NEVER recommend using to anyone, ever. This stuff was like glue, made my hair crunchy and sticky and nasty for weeks and ultimately required chopping two inches off in desperation after stripping it with vinegar and baking soda. Not good people, but it sure looks cool.

Happy Halloween everyone! I'll be back next week with more of the regular goodness!

  1. Hi Jessica, Great Outfit! I couldn't rock those pants anymore but, my daughter has been eyeing them. It'd be great to come across a pair in the thrift store. Love how you styled your outfit. Pinned & shared. Thanks for joining the Inspiration Spotlight party!
