So since it's already been established that my husband is a gigantic Star Wars fan from his in-depth review of the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie, and the world is in a Star Wars dither after the release, I thought I'd share one of my incredibly easy recent projects with you. For the premier of the new Star Wars movie, I made him a little present he's been really excited about. Behold! Noah's Star Wars inspired 'Sith Happens' t-shirt!
I hesitated to even post this and call it a project, because it was so easy. But I know at least three other people who want one now, so I thought I'd share my brief and incredibly simple instructions for making your own 'Sith Happens' shirt. If you want to know how and see more pics (including the original inspiration), click through now!
If you haven't been living under a rock for the last four months, you may have already guessed what the inspiration was for Noah's new t-shirt. A couple months ago this piece of modern day Anakin Skywalker, by the artist Shorelle, made the rounds on Facebook:

Noah wanted this shirt immediately, or better yet, yesterday. And I knew it'd be easy to make a DIY version for him. Plus, it coordinates perfectly with his Sith bathrobe! (P. S. He's also wearing the beanie I crocheted for him)
Are you ready for the instructions for making your own Star Wars 'Sith Happens' shirt? Here they are:
You will need:
- one t-shirt in your desired size and color
- iron on vinyl letters (I used Dritz iron-on 3" distressed letters in white)
Iron on the letters according to the directions on the package. Wear shirt. Be awesome. The end.
See, I told you it was easy! And this guy is pretty darn happy as well.
Please please if you make one of these either send me a picture, or tweet/tag me on Instagram, I'd love to see it (and so would Shorelle!) And if you want to follow Shorelle on twitter or check out her store to buy prints I'd definitely do that too, the girl has skills!
