Thrift store finds: This is how I Valentine's Day

So one thing I do a lot of in my spare time (probably more then I should) is thrift store shopping. I love clothes, in general, but something about combining treasure hunting with clothes makes me incredibly happy. Plus, I'm a long time lover of reusing old things, and being cheap. Thrift stores are kind of my perfect happy place, especially if you throw in a latte.

So I've been looking around for a while for a more creative way to show you guys all the amazing things I find (because what's the point of treasure hunting if you can't squeeee excitedly over your finds with your friends?) and finally decided to bite the bullet and model them more often. There just isn't a better way to show how cute something is then seeing it on a person, a hanger just doesn't do these justice!

So if you also love thrifting, grab some coffee of your own and click through! I'll show you the details of my latest treasure hunting finds and tell you how much this whole outfit costs. Hint: It's less then most people spend on a pair of shoes!

Dem shoes tho...

And oh yeah, a Coach bag. In pink. *Swoon*

I know, I won't make you wait anymore, enough scrolling. Here is the cost breakdown for the whole outfit. Squeeeee with me!

My favorite part of this whole outfit (aside from the purse) is probably the leather look leggings. I've been wearing these everywhere, ever since I wore out my last pair. I've seriously worn them three times this week alone! You'll be seeing them a lot, I throw them on when I need a little edginess to a girly outfit.

What do you think of the new format for showing off thrift store finds? If you have any thrifted outfits of your own I'd love to see pictures, and maybe they'll get featured here on the blog. Send them my way!

  1. I love your style and your "thrifty-ness" :) As a thrift store owner, I'm a huge huge fan of thrifting! I have the best job ever! My customers often show off outfits they've put together from my store, or DIY projects they've created from items from my store. Wish you lived closer so you could comb my shop for Treasures! I have never really connected with others that share my passion, so i really enjoy your blog and posts.

  2. Thrifting is one of my favourite things to do to. I love your jacket, the zip details on it are fab.

I think the best thing I have found lately is a brand new big cream handbag which I got for €2 --- it should have been around €45 I didn't know the brand but it looked like quality so looked the brand up online when I got home.
