DIY: Easy kid's craft, a framed kiss!

This year for Valentine's Day, my daughter Jillian has bee crafting up a storm! I helped her make this mini version of my personalized framed kiss print as her Valentine's Day gift for her dad, isn't that sweet?

This is an adorable gift for kids to make themselves and give, and is totally something any parent or grandparent would love to receive. I'm already planning on making a version of this for the grandma's for Mother's Day (act surprised, Mom!)

Jill was so proud of herself, she even wanted to take the pictures for this post. And she did, isn't that awesome? I've  been teaching her to use our DSLR, and I'm proud to say she's rocking it.

This craft does require some supervision, especially if you use krazy glue. I just helped Jill apply the glue and she stuck her hearts on herself. A hot glue gun would probably work just as well, and maybe keep you from gluing yourself to...well...yourself like I did!

You will need:

All you need to do is glue your jewels to the frame.

Simply press the jewels in place for a few seconds, then let dry. After the frame was finished, I followed the process from my personalized framed kiss print to make the 'kiss.' Her favorite part was when I had her put on lipstick and give a piece of paper a big smacking kiss! We of course had to try several different colors, just to make sure.

That's it! Simple and really satisfying for her, to create a Valentine that will last instead of just coloring one. Proud mom here!
