I had the amazing opportunity to attend the Dress for Success gala this last weekend, click through to see even more outfit details!
This last Saturday I attended the annual Dress for Success Gala here in Boise with the amazing Editor-in-Chief of Venture Meridian magazine, Toni. (I'm lucky to get to write their style and food columns every month!)
I was excited to go support a good cause with my friends, but I was also really excited to get dressed up! You all know that I don't shy away from an excuse to get all fancy. And I was just lucky enough that it was a bit chilly outside, just chilly enough for me to bust out my thrifted vintage green velvet coat one more time!
I paired it with a yellow chiffon ruffled dress, Steve Madden gold shoes, a vintage gold snakeskin clutch and my vintage gold fringe necklace I scored during my trip to San Francisco last month. I love that fringe necklace so much, I've probably worn it 3 out of 7 days a week since I bought it, it adds just the exact right amount of boho glam feel to pretty much any outfit. You'll be seeing it a lot more this summer I promise! Also, I just realized that this outfit is yet another example of how obsessed I've been with gold lately!
If you want to learn more about how to get involved with or donate to Dress for Success, you can get more information over on their website. It's a truly amazing organization that does so much to help women all over the country every year!
